Dr. Nodesh Shyamsunder, BDS, is a skilled prosthodontist at Beaches Dentistry - Prosthodontics & Orthodontics in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He is a passionate provider focused on helping patients achieve their goals and giving them the confidence and quality of life they deserve.
Dr. Nodesh is focused on creating optimal oral health and function to improve and maintain his patients’ overall health. In practice since 2004, his love for dental science and creative arts was the perfect combination for being a prosthodontist.
Raised in Bangalore, India, Dr. Nodesh attended SDM College of Dental Sciences. He then moved to New York City to further his education and begin advanced clinical research studies at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. He rounded out his education with an oral and maxillofacial prosthetics fellowship at the University of Illinois. He also holds certificates in clinical research and prosthodontics.
Dr. Nodesh continues to stay current with dental advances. Learning new, improved, and modern techniques to improve patient care is an essential aspect of his care philosophy. Dr. Nodesh’s background as a researcher, with many published articles in peer-reviewed journals, allows him to critically evaluate and implement new materials to customize care for his patients.
Dr. Nodesh has maintained active roles in research and education in the dental field. He has been an adjunct faculty member for the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons at the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, a lecturer at the Florida Prosthodontic Association meeting, and a lecturer and hands-on trainer to general dentists in Miami. He has enjoyed volunteering at the Smile Train project — an organization that helps treat and care for children with cleft lip and palate.
Together with his wife, he moved to Florida in 2011 and has called it home ever since. He enjoys traveling to new places, experiencing new cultures, and trying diverse cuisines.
In his free time, Dr. Nodesh enjoys working out, playing sports such as soccer and beach volleyball, DSLR photography, and hiking. His favorite food is biryani, a popular rice-based dish from India - he would do anything to get a good plate of it.

Jasleen Raina, DDS, is a board-certified orthodontist at Beaches Dentistry - Prosthodontics & Orthodontics in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Her personalized treatment plans bolster her reputation as one of the premier orthodontists in Florida.
After earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at SDM College of Dental Sciences in India, Dr. Raina relocated to the University of Illinois at Chicago for her doctoral studies. Finally, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, for her specialty certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Raina spends quality time with each patient to understand their goals before developing a treatment plan. This attention to detail helps Dr. Raina strategize for her patients’ long-term success and build a foundation for teamwork. She believes successful orthodontic treatment relies on the collaboration between patient and provider. She strives to keep her patients and their families involved with the orthodontic team to attain the best possible outcome.
A strong proponent of continuing education, Dr. Raina keeps up with the latest research and technology. This allows her to bring new and improved techniques to the practice, serve her patients better, and improve team performance constantly.
In addition to attending annual conferences, seminars, and classes at the national, regional, and state levels, Dr. Raina wishes to return to teaching and share her experiences with younger colleagues.
She has previously enjoyed volunteering in rural dental camps of South India, Smile Train projects, Kansas Mission of Mercy, and at the Free Health Clinic in Kansas City.
Dr. Raina is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Florida Association of Orthodontists. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
